This policy explains what NeverForget learns about you when you use neverforgettab.com, what we do with it, and what we deliberately refuse to collect. The shop sells electronics and digital goods. It is not an advertising network. The data we want is the data that lets a person answer you.
NeverForget can be reached at hello@neverforgettab.com. We do not publish a phone number. We do not publish a street address. Please do not send identity documents unless we have asked for a specific page in order to prevent fraud, and even then send only what we name.
1. Who we are
NeverForget operates the website at neverforgettab.com and the mailbox hello@neverforgettab.com. When this policy says “we”, it means that shop. When it says “you”, it means the person using the site or writing to us.
We are the party responsible for the personal information described here. We do not sell customer lists. We do not run a second business in data.
2. The short version
If you only browse, we learn very little, because the catalog is a set of pages rather than an account system. If you add products to the cart or the wishlist, those lists stay in your browser until you clear them. If you check out, contact us, subscribe, or unsubscribe, you give us a name or an email, and sometimes a message. We use that to reply, to confirm orders, and to send the letter you asked for. We do not ask for your phone number. We do not ask for your home address on the website. We do not take card numbers on the website.
3. Information you give us
You may give us information in four forms.
Checkout. Full name, email address, an optional note, the products and quantities in the cart, the color or license selected, any discount code the cart accepted, and the fact that you confirmed a representative may email you. Please do not put a phone number, a street address, or a payment card number in the note. If you do, we will delete that part from our working copy when we see it and we will ask you not to send it again.
Contact form. Name, email, a topic you chose from the list, and a message of your own words.
Subscribe. Name, email, the kinds of notes you ticked, and your confirmation that you want the letter.
Unsubscribe. Email, the reason you chose, any detail you added, and your confirmation that you want to leave.
You may also write to hello@neverforgettab.com directly. Those messages contain whatever you put in them. The same rules apply: we use them to help you, and we ask you not to include payment credentials.
4. What we do not collect
We do not collect phone numbers through the site. We do not collect postal addresses through the site. If a physical order needs a destination, a representative asks for it later, inside the email thread, and only for that shipment. That address is delivery information, not a public profile, and it is not stored in the website forms.
We do not collect payment card numbers, bank passwords, or identity numbers through the website. Payment is arranged after confirmation, off the public forms.
We do not require an account, so we do not store a password for you. We do not ask you to sign in with another company’s profile.
We do not knowingly build a dossier of browsing habits for advertising. We do not buy email lists.
5. The cart and the wishlist
The cart and the wishlist are kept in local storage in your browser under keys the site script uses for that purpose. A discount code you apply is kept the same way. This means the list of products is on your device. It is not a NeverForget account in the cloud. Anyone who can use that browser profile can see it. Private browsing modes may forget it when the window closes.
Because the cart is local, looking at a product does not, by itself, tell us you looked. We learn the contents when you choose to send them, for example by completing checkout or by describing them in an email.
6. Orders
An order request includes the identity of the goods, the options, the quantities, the totals the cart calculated, and the name and email you typed. A representative uses that information to confirm stock, to agree payment and delivery, and to send digital links to the right person.
We keep order correspondence long enough to deliver the goods, to handle a return or a fault within the windows in our terms, and to meet any record we are required to keep about a sale. We do not keep it for advertising you did not ask for.
If you share a mailbox with someone else, they may see the confirmation. Choose an email you are willing to use for purchases.
7. Contact messages
Contact messages are read by the people who answer the desk. We use them to reply, to match you with an order if you mention one, and to notice when a product description is confusing enough that several people ask the same question. We may keep a message so that a later colleague understands what was already promised.
We do not publish your message, your name, or your email on the website. Journal essays are written by our editors. If we ever wanted to quote a customer, we would ask first, and we would not attach the email address.
8. The email letter
If you subscribe, we use your email to send the kinds of notes you selected: new products, restocks and price changes, care guides, or offer codes. The letter is occasional. You can leave whenever you want.
The footer form collects only an email address. The subscribe page also collects a name and your topics, so we know what you asked to receive. We treat a footer signup as a request for the general letter.
We do not lend the list to other shops. A product mention in the letter is a NeverForget product, or a general care note that does not require a purchase.
9. Unsubscribe
The unsubscribe form removes an email from the subscriber list saved in this browser when that email is on the list and the form is valid. You must confirm the choice. If you choose “Other”, a short note is required so the reason is usable.
If you subscribed by emailing us, or from a different browser, use the form there or write to hello@neverforgettab.com from the subscribed address. A person will remove you. Unsubscribing from the letter does not cancel an order. Order mail is not marketing, and we will still write about a parcel or a download you asked for.
We keep the fact of an unsubscribe long enough to honor it, so a later import or a mistaken signup does not quietly put you back. That record is the email address and the date, not a profile of what you bought.
10. Local storage
The site script may store:
- The cart, including product identifiers, quantities, and options.
- The wishlist, as a list of product identifiers.
- A discount code, if you applied a valid one.
- A subscriber list used by the subscribe and unsubscribe forms in that browser.
- Copies of contact messages you submitted through the form, so the confirmation has something to stand on in that browser.
- The end time of the “deal of the days” timer, so the countdown does not reset on every visit.
You can remove these by clearing site data for neverforgettab.com in your browser. Doing that empties the cart. It does not, by itself, cancel an order a representative has already accepted by email, and it does not unsubscribe an address that was copied into our mailbox. Use the unsubscribe form or the mailbox for that.
11. Cookies and similar tools
The shop is built as static pages. We do not set advertising cookies. We do not run a third-party analytics suite on these pages. Your browser may still store the local storage items described above, which are a cousin of cookies. They are first-party and they are there so the cart works.
If we add a tool later that sets a cookie for a new purpose, we will update this policy before we rely on it, and we will say what the cookie is for.
12. Fonts and technical data
The pages load typefaces from Google Fonts so the shop matches the design we intend. When your browser requests those files, Google may receive technical data such as your IP address and the address of the page, under Google’s own terms. If that bothers you, your browser may be able to block third-party requests. The site will still function in a fallback typeface.
Our own pages, and any host that serves them, will also see ordinary server logs: IP address, time, the file requested, and the browser string. We use logs to keep the site up, to notice broken pages, and to defend the server. We do not use them to build a marketing profile. Hosts keep logs for a limited operations window and then delete or rotate them.
Email providers see the messages we exchange, because that is how email works. Choose a provider you trust.
13. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to questions and order requests.
- Confirm stock, payment, and delivery with you.
- Send digital goods to the email you gave.
- Handle returns, faults, and safety issues.
- Send the letter you subscribed to, and stop it when you unsubscribe.
- Keep a record of a sale for as long as we need to stand behind it.
- Protect the mailbox and the site from abuse.
- Improve a description when your question shows that the page was unclear. We do this by remembering the question, not by tracking you around the web.
We do not use your information to train a public model of you. We do not sell it. We do not ask you to pay with data instead of money.
14. Why we are allowed to
We process an order because you asked us to supply goods. We process a contact message because you asked for a reply. We send the letter because you opted in, and we stop because you opted out. We keep a modest record of sales because we have to stand behind returns and faults, and because tax or accounting rules that apply to us may require it. We look at security logs because we have a legitimate reason to keep the site available and to protect the people who write to us.
Where a law where you live requires a particular basis or a particular notice, that law sits beside this policy. We do not name one country in this text, because the shop does not publish a storefront and customers write from many places. Your local mandatory rights are not waived by these paragraphs.
15. Who we share it with
We share information with people and services who need it to do a job we asked them to do:
- The representative who answers your email. That is us.
- A carrier, once you and the representative have agreed a destination, and only with the details that shipment needs.
- A payment provider, once you agree a payment method off the website. They receive what that method requires. They do not receive your card through our pages, because our pages do not ask for it.
- A company that hosts the website or the mailbox, under a duty to keep the data for that job only.
- A professional adviser or an authority, if the law requires a disclosure, or if we must defend a legal claim.
We do not share your email with other retailers for their mailings. If we ever wanted to, we would ask first, and the default would stay no.
A delivery address collected in email is shared with the carrier and not placed on the website. Digital downloads are not shared with a carrier because there is nothing to carry.
16. How long we keep it
Browser storage lasts until you clear it or until the script removes it, as the cart does after a successful checkout request.
Mailbox copies of orders are kept for the life of the return window, the fault window, and any longer period our accounting records require. Contact messages that did not become an order are kept while the question might return, and then deleted or reduced to a note that contains no email address.
Subscriber lists are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short record that you unsubscribed. Server logs rotate on the host’s ordinary schedule.
If you ask us to delete a message and we do not need it for an order, a legal claim, or a security incident, we will delete it. If we must keep a slice — for example the fact that a refund was paid — we will keep that slice and delete the rest.
17. Security
We use ordinary care: a mailbox that is not shared as a public inbox password, a site that does not ask for card data, and a habit of not putting customer letters on laptops that travel without a lock. No method is perfect. Email can be intercepted by a compromised account on either side. Use a strong password on your mailbox and tell us quickly if you believe an order thread was exposed.
Do not send card numbers to hello@neverforgettab.com. We do not want them, and an email is the wrong place for them. A representative will name a payment method that is built for payment.
Local storage is only as private as the computer it sits on. Sign out of shared computers and clear the cart if you used one.
18. Children
The catalog is general retail, not a service directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child who is too young to purchase. If you are a parent and you believe a child has sent us an email or an order, write to us and we will delete what we can and close the request.
A parent may place an order for a household, using the parent’s own email. That is the route we expect.
19. Your choices
You may:
- Refuse the letter, or leave it through the unsubscribe form in the footer.
- Clear local storage and cookies in your browser.
- Ask us what order information we hold about your email address.
- Ask us to correct a name or an email that is wrong, so a download does not go to a typo.
- Ask us to delete a contact message that is not tied to an open order.
- Object to a use that is not required to finish a purchase you still want. If you object to the use that is required to finish it, we may have to cancel the order instead. We will say so.
- Block Google Fonts in your browser if you do not want that request made.
To exercise a choice, email hello@neverforgettab.com from the address you used with us. We may ask you to confirm you control that address before we change or delete anything, so a stranger cannot erase your order.
If a law where you live gives you a complaint path to a regulator, you may use it. We would still like the chance to fix the problem first.
20. Changes
We will update this policy when the shop’s practice changes. The date at the top will change with it. The current version lives on this page, linked from the footer of every page. A material change to how we use emails — for example, starting a kind of letter you did not select — will not be applied to old subscribers without a fresh request.
Old orders stay under the policy that was posted when you placed them, plus any extra protection a later policy gives you without taking something away.
21. Contact
Privacy questions go to hello@neverforgettab.com. Please use a subject line that says “Privacy” so it is sorted quickly. Tell us the email address the question is about. Do not include a password, a card number, or a copy of an identity document unless we have specifically asked for a redacted detail and explained why.
We will reply by email. We will not call, because we do not collect a number to call. We will not invite you to an office, because we do not publish one. The mailbox is the front door, and this policy is the explanation of what happens after you knock.
